Nashville Goodguys show

Hey everyone!  Just thought I would let everyone know how the show in Nashville went.  We took a fresh project up there with about 40 shake down miles on it.  The car is a ‘51 Chevrolet Tin Woody that we have built for Doyle Thomas out of Longview TX.  We left the shop on Thursday morning and made it safely there that afternoon.  Only one problem and that was with the thermostat in the car.  The engine was out of a late model Camaro that had been wrecked and we never changed out the thermostat and it locked shut.  Needless to say the car shot up in temp and the computer would hardly let it run.  We were able to find a parts store and fix the problem and we were back on our way.  The show is very good in Nashville.  It is held at the Titan’s stadium in downtown.  It is a good show because of the trees on the grounds and the grassy areas you can park.  The level of cars at this show is great.  There are many well built cars.  It seems to have a good draw of newly built cars being debuted there too.  Look forward to seeing many of you there next year!
